“Good instructions about where to meet and easy to find. The main thing is how long it will take to go down from Fira downtown to the port - the cable car ride is just a few minutes but it may not be running at full capacity. For us, it was so the down journey was less than 10 minutes including a short wait. The boat itself was mostly but not completely full - it was easy to check in and find a spot to sit. They played music that was a little loud but not too bad. The volcano was fun - the island itself wasn't that interesting but…”

“the volcano was great and really interesting. hard slog up but fabulous views and i love the information from the guide along the way. hot springs were great but not long there (its more like warmish spring) and the trip t thirissia was great. by the time we climbed the stairs.... there was 45 mins to eat lunch and get back down to the boat! not so keen on the slow sail back to fira!”

“Booked this last minute and glad we did. The boat wasn’t as advertised and was a ferry instead but we quite enjoyed this glimpse into local life. Walking in the volcano crater was a great experience and the village of Mandraki is beautiful. Barbara the guide walked us through the village and we had a chance to try some free samples of goods we could buy. She also took us to a taverna and we had lunch there (not included in price). It was a lovely spot and the food was excellent. Had plenty of free time to explore the village and the gift shops. Transfers from coach to boat…”

“The tour was a bit crowded but the hike up the volcano was cool. The hot springs was a really short time by the time everyone got in the water it was time to go. The hot springs weren’t hot or really luke warm.”

“An amazing experience. The crew was accommodating and very friendly. The meal was delicious with a good variety. The stops along the way were also beautiful, albeit a bit rushed. Lasted closer to 4 hours rather than 5, but this may be due to earlier sunsets later in the year. Highly recommended.”
